It's not a town with a long list of attractions; it's a town where three genuinely good ones sit close together, which makes for an easy day if you're staying nearby.
Here's how the pieces fit together:
- The Ridges Sanctuary is a boardwalk nature walk through one of the county's most biodiverse stretches — plan an hour or so, more if you're into birding.
- Cana Island Lighthouse is a short drive north, with a causeway crossing (sometimes wet underfoot) and a climb to the top.

It's a working museum as much as a photo stop, with the keeper's quarters open to walk through. Give yourself more time than you'd expect; between the causeway, the climb, and the grounds, it's easy to spend an hour here without noticing.

Door County Brewing is the easy way to close out a day in Baileys Harbor — beer brewed on site, a food menu that covers real dinner rather than just bar snacks, and a laid-back taproom that doesn't require a reservation to walk into.
After a day split between a nature walk and a lighthouse climb, it's a good place to sit down for a while. Check their event calendar if you're around on a night with live music — it's a nice bonus, not the main reason to go.
