“A hand-built stave-style chapel on a Lawrence University lakeshore estate — modeled on a Norwegian stavkirke, with 41 hand-painted frescoes inside. Public tours run a couple of afternoons a week in summer for a few dollars; it's one of the more unexpected things to see in Door County.”
