“Carved bears, eagles, and buffalo look down on the dining room of this hand-scribed log lodge, which the Lautenbach family raised from Door County timber in 2006. The whitefish sandwich is a featured plate, but the Friday fish boil (whitefish, potatoes, onions, cherry pie) is the move all summer. Reserve at (920) 868-3888; they open at 4 midweek, late morning on weekends, and 9 for Sunday brunch.”
