  A roadhouse bar and grill on Highway 57 outside the village core, with its own gas station and campground next door. The Dovetail Burger (two patties, bacon jam) and a Door County turkey sandwich with cherry compote lead a menu built for a quieter, off-the-beaten-path stop.

  Emma Husby opened this Sister Bay tavern in 1929, and it still stays open later than most of the peninsula. Out back, the open-air Garage grill turns out local whitefish tacos, with live music on summer weekends.

• Peach Barn Farmhouse & Brewery

  Sister Bay's first brewery, in a historic farmhouse and barn on the hill along Highway 42: self-brewed beer, gluten-free hard seltzers, and fresh peaches from the property's own trees each August. There's no kitchen, so bring your own food if you're staying a while.

• SAVOR Barbeque - Grill - Taphouse

  $$ · Hours shift by season and the business recently relocated within Sister Bay — call ahead to confirm current hours before you go.

  A fast-casual BBQ smokehouse and taphouse that expanded into its current, larger home in spring 2026. Expect hand-sliced brisket, ribs, and a pet-friendly patio with Friday afternoon live music in season.

• Sister Bay Bowl

  The best supper club in the county and it has a bowling alley in it. Get the lake perch, sweet muddled old fashioned, and a lane.

• Stabbur Beer Garden at Al Johnson's

  The outdoor beer garden beside Al Johnson's, set on the same downtown grounds where the goats graze on the restaurant's famous sod roof. Twenty rotating taps lean Wisconsin craft, and the walk-up KöK kitchen keeps the picnic tables fed; order Rolf's Bloody Mary, built on Al Johnson's own tomato dill soup recipe.

• The Alley Bar

  The Alley is the seasonal patio bar on the north side of Sister Bay Bowl, the Willems family's supper club that has been rolling on the same downtown corner for 75 years. Pull up outside facing Highway 42 for cocktails al fresco and live music on some nights.

• The Cleat

  A dock-and-dine spot right on the Green Bay shoreline, on a site that spent 44 years as JJ's La Puerta before reopening as The Cleat in 2025. Expect fish tacos, cheesy nachos, and a full tequila menu, with an outdoor bar just steps from the water and dock access for boaters.

• Twelve Eleven Wine Bar + Provisions

  The wine-bar sibling to Thyme next door, named for the San Francisco apartment where owners Tim Raduenz and Garret Torgerson once lived. Order a glass of the namesake label and a plate of cheese and charcuterie, then carry it out to the patio and the fire pits.

• Wild Tomato Wood-Fired Pizza & Grille (Sister Bay)

  A second, separate Wild Tomato. This one is tucked between Highway 42 and Sister Bay's public beach, with its own beach bar and garage bar. Same wood-fired pizza concept as the original Fish Creek restaurant, different water view, and open year-round rather than seasonally.
